PROGRAM
Day 1 – Arcos de Valdevez & Sistelo
Morning:
- Welcome Reception: Meet in the historic center of Arcos de Valdevez.
- Guided Tour: Stroll along the scenic banks of the River Vez and visit the iconic Monument of Recontro de Valdevez, blending history and nature.
- Journey to Sistelo: Explore this picturesque village, known as “Portugal’s Little Tibete”, famous for its terraced fields. Enjoy a 10km hike (easy level) through stunning agricultural landscapes.
Lunch:
- Picnic Lunch: Participants bring their own picnic for a shared outdoor meal.
Evening:
- Accommodation: Overnight stay in a 3-star hotel (double room).
- Group Dinner: Experience the region’s authentic cuisine at a local restaurant.
Day 2 – Soajo Village & Peneda Sanctuary
Morning:
- Hike through Soajo: Discover one of the most charming villages in the national park, known for its traditional granaries (“espigueiros”) and stone streets. Visit landmarks like the Chapel of São Sebastião and other historical sites. Enjoy a 10km guided hike (easy level).
Lunch:
- Regional Cuisine: Delight in local specialties paired with Vinho Verde wines at a traditional restaurant.
Afternoon:
- Visit the Peneda Sanctuary: Explore the magnificent Sanctuary of Our Lady of Peneda, recognized as a National Monument, surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Activity Requirements:
- Limited to 8 participants, with a deadline of October 15, 2025.
- Requires a minimum of 4 participants to proceed and may be postponed if weather conditions are unfavorable.
