We are a team of local guides from Arcos de Valdevez. We take small groups to discover the mountains, villages and traditions of Peneda-Gerês National Park.

Nature, people, experiences
The name Montesa comes from the Iberian ibex (cabra-montesa), a symbol of the Iberian mountains. Like the ibex, we look for authentic paths and connect people with nature in a simple, safe and balanced way.
We are licensed by Turismo de Portugal (RNAAT 367/2022) and recognised by ICNF. We work in small groups, at the pace of those who walk with us, respecting local communities and ecosystems.
