PROGRAM
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL & WELCOME
Meet your guide in Arcos de Valdevez, who will explain the plan for the next few days and assist with your check-in.

Accommodation in a 3★ hotel with breakfast in Ponte da Barca.

DAY 2 – TRAIL ON THE PENEDA SIDE

09:00 – Private transfer to Castro Laboreiro. Along the way, several stops to visit the traditional village of Soajo, the Peneda Sanctuary, and the Tibo viewpoint.

10:00 – Coffee break and taste of a local pastry.

11:30 – Guided hike in Castro Laboreiro, 1 km (elevation loss/gain: –557 m | +559 m).

13:00 – Lunch – packed lunch.

16:30 – Visit to the local ethnographic museum, preserving memories of shepherds and Minho traditions.

17:30 – Transfer back to Ponte da Barca.

Dinner on reservation.

DAY 3 – TRAIL ON THE GERÊS SIDE

09:00 – Transfer to Gerês. En route, stops to see waterfalls, the total protection forest, and an old wolf trap.

11:00 – Guided hike in Campo do Gerês following a Roman road, 11 km (elevation loss/gain: –300 m | +310 m).

13:00 – Lunch – packed lunch.

16:30 – End of programme and transfer back to the meeting point.
