PROGRAM
- 09:00 AM: Meet your guide in Arcos de Valdevez, private transport to Peneda Mountain, approximately 50 minutes journey.
- 09:50 AM:Start the guiding walking tour
- 01:00 PM:Reach the Pedrinho Peak 1314mts, and Picnic overlooking the mountains
- 01:30 PM: Return path.
- 04:00 PM: Return to Arcos de Valdevez, end of program.
GENERAL INFORMATION

Route Description:Embark on a memorable journey in Arcos de Valdevez with a 60-minute transfer to the starting point in the Serra da Peneda. This 14 km circular route takes us to one of the highest points of the Serra da Peneda, passing through ancient mountain pastures and areas of low mountain scrubland until we reach the Pedrinho 1st order geodetic marker. Don’t miss this adventure.
Points of Interest:
- Panoramic Views: From the summit of Pedrinho Peak, take in the awe-inspiring vistas across the national park and beyond, a perfect reward for your hiking efforts. On your way back, visit the Tibo Viewpoint, a spectacular spot for mountain lovers.
- Flora and Fauna: The park is a haven for biodiversity; keep an eye out for wild horses, mountain cows, and wild goats among the rich vegetation.
- Historical Encounter: Summer settlement Gorbelas, an ancient place that adds a touch of history to your adventure.
